Mission Statement

The Mission of The 228 Club
is to be a lighthouse of hope for those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.  We promote sobriety by hosting recovery meetings in a dedicated safe and sober gathering place.  In addition, we offer on-site transitional housing to help those committed to recovery maintain their sobriety.  The 228 Club has been an advoocate for the recovery community for over 35 years.

  1. For New Members
    The 228 Club Inc is a not for profit group of people in recovery from addiction, family members of those affected by addiction, and any person concerned about the toll that addiction has taken on our society. The 228 Club invites anyone who wants to take a stand and help fight the disease of addiction to become a member.
  2. For Returning members
    You may come to the Club in person and pay with cash for membership renewal.
  3. Donate
    If you don't really want to become a member but want to have a say in how drugs and alcohol affect your community, the Club offers support for anyone trying to change their life and free themselves from addiction. You may come to the Club in person to donate. All visitors are welcome!
