Mission Statement

The Mission of The 228 Club
is to be a lighthouse of hope for those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction.  We promote sobriety by hosting recovery meetings in a dedicated safe and sober gathering place.  In addition, we offer on-site transitional housing to help those committed to recovery maintain their sobriety.  The 228 Club has been an advoocate for the recovery community for over 35 years.

Friday March 15th   Saint Patrick’s: Dance, Cards, Games, Pool and Darts Time 7pm
Saturday April 27th Euchre Tournament 1pm- 4:30pm
Sunday May 19th 228 Club Cook Out: Meat provide please bring a side dish. 1pm-?
Friday June 14th Family Movie Night: 7pm movie Starts at 8pm.
Saturday July 13th Family Day cook Out: Starts at 2pm meetings after the cook out Love and Tolerance at 6:30pm Candle Light at 9:30 open till 12am.
Sunday August 11th Euchre Tournament: Starts at 1pm 4:30pm
Saturday September 7th Chili Cook Off: 1pm. Meetings after 6:30pm Love and Tolerance Candle Light at 9:30  
Thursday October 31: Octoberfest: Karaoke, Dance   Starts at 6pm costume Contest at 8pm.
Wednesday November27th Thanksgiving Dinner 3pm- 5pm
Tuesday December 24th Christmas Dinner 3pm-5pm
Tuesday December 31 New Years Eve Allochthon: Meetings start at 9am thru 12:00am

We are here for the members of the 228 Club and for the people struggling with addiction. Our events and special occassions help us reach more people and bring in funds so we can continue this much needed work.
